Partisans Disable Russian Electronic Warfare and Communications System on Arabat Spit.
Partisan Activity in the Kherson Region
According to UATV: On the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine's Kherson region, partisans have successfully disabled a Russian electronic warfare (EW) complex. The incident occurred on the Arabat Spit, near the settlement of Strilkove. Actions by the partisan movement 'Atesh' resulted in a fire at the transformer cabinet of a communications tower. This area is a strategically sensitive strip of land separating the Sea of Azov from the Syvash lagoon.
According to available information, EW antennas were also mounted on the tower itself and are now non-operational. This has led to a loss of communications and electronic warfare coverage in that sector, underscoring the significance of partisan operations in countering occupation forces within the Kherson region.
Impact on the Frontline Situation
This incident highlights the intensification of the partisan movement in occupied territories, which can significantly disrupt Russian military activities. Disabling the EW system will complicate the occupiers' communication and coordination, potentially affecting the overall situation on the frontline.
Given the current context, such actions may become a crucial factor in the struggle to liberate territories from occupation.
