The former producer of MasterChef, Yuriy Mihashko, died on the Sumy front.

According to ТСН: In the battles on the Sumy front, the former employee of Starlight Media, Yuriy Mihashko, who had been serving in the Defense Forces of Ukraine since 2022, was killed.

"Painful news for the Starlight family. Our colleague Yuriy Mihashko has died in the military. Yuriy worked with the team for about 10 years: he was a producer on the New Channel and STB, a set designer for 'Weighty and Happy' and 'MasterChef' at Starlight Production," the statement said.

It is known that in March 2022, he voluntarily took up the defense of the country, joining the Armed Forces of Ukraine during the war against Russian aggression. Recently, Yuriy was killed in battles in Sumy region.
