A psychiatric nursing home in Kharkiv region caught fire: six people injured (photo).
In a psychiatric nursing home in the Kharkiv region, six people were injured as a result of a fire, one of whom received severe burns. Five others were poisoned by carbon monoxide, reported the State Emergency Service.
On January 4 at 21:44, a fire broke out in a two-story building of the psychiatric nursing home in the city of Pivdenne. The fire damaged a mattress and belongings in a room on the second floor. The area of the fire was 2 square meters.
«During the fire, six people were injured, one man received 90% burns on his body, and five others were poisoned by carbon monoxide. All the injured were hospitalized,» reported the State Emergency Service.
The fire was localized at 22:10 and was later completely extinguished. The cause of the fire is currently being determined.
Recall that on the night of January 3, a fire occurred in an apartment on Committee Street in Odesa due to a power bank explosion.
