A teenager was brutally humiliated and filmed in the Kharkiv region: details of the crime.

In the Kharkiv region, a 20-year-old man and his 15-year-old friend committed violence against a 14-year-old boy. The victim had recently lost his mother, putting him in a vulnerable state. This was reported by the press service of the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office on Telegram on Saturday, August 9.

Violence against a teenager in Kharkiv region

According to the investigation, the 14-year-old boy occasionally worked for the 20-year-old man, who is the older of the suspects. After accidentally damaging property, specifically a broken mirror, he and his 15-year-old friend systematically humiliated the teenager.

'Constant insults and pressure culminated in a brutal episode: in July 2025, the suspects caught up with the victim on the street, led him into an abandoned building, and gave him a choice - beating or a cynical act of a sexual nature'

, the message states. The victim begged to be left alone, but was forced to comply. Physical force was also used against him during the violence. The older participant filmed the crime, causing the victim additional moral suffering, and later sent this recording in private correspondence.

Punishment for the perpetrators

The older criminal has been charged with torture, committing sexual acts by a group of individuals, producing and distributing child pornography, and coercing a minor to participate in its creation. The 15-year-old participant, considering his age, was charged with committing sexual acts by a group of individuals. Both have been placed in custody without the possibility of bail. It should be noted that in the Kharkiv region, a 43-year-old man was violent towards his daughters aged 9 and 13. He was sentenced to life imprisonment. Earlier in Poltava, a resident of the Kharkiv region was tried for committing violence against a child and distributing videos. Using fabricated reasons, the 20-year-old man and his 15-year-old friend devastated innocent teenagers, adding physical and psychological trauma to their lives. Currently, law enforcement is taking appropriate measures to bring those responsible to justice.
