“Currently, 399 rescuers, 103 units of equipment from the SES, brought from various parts of Ukraine, and 17 units of equipment from the forestry department are working on the spot. Due to strong winds, the fire quickly spreads to new areas. To halt the spread of the fire, five units of heavy engineering equipment have also been deployed to create mineralized strips. Bulldozers, tractors, and heavy trucks are working,” the State Emergency Service of Ukraine said in a statement.
