Remains of a Deceased Found on the Border with Romania: What is Known About the Identification.
According to inkorr.com: On the night of October 22, border guards from the 'Velyatyno' unit of the Mukachevo squad discovered human remains. This was reported by 'Hlavkom', citing information from the State Border Guard Service.
Discovery of Remains
While patrolling the section of the Ukrainian-Romanian border near Mount Frasin, the patrol stumbled upon fragments of a human skeleton, which appeared to have been damaged by wild animals and remained incomplete. Experts are determining the cause of death. The border guards notified the police about the discovered remains.
Alongside the bones, the military found pieces of clothing, documents, a camouflage backpack, and a bag. The documents belonged to a 36-year-old native of the Luhansk region who had previously been detained in November 2023 for attempting to illegally cross the border. At that time, the Khust District Court decided to impose a fine.
Other Mysterious Deaths
Not long ago, in the mountains, border guards from the 'Shybeny' department in the Ivano-Frankivsk region also discovered a human skeleton, but there were no documents for identifying this person. The National Police was also informed about this fact.
Thus, Ukrainian border guards are once again facing mysterious cases of deaths at the border. Currently, experts are investigating the circumstances of these individuals' deaths, methods of their identification, and the reasons that led to these tragic situations.
