The Vice Prime Minister for European Integration, Taras Kachka, announced that Ukraine has sent a draft negotiating position to the European Union regarding the third cluster. He hopes for the agreement of this draft and expects reports from the European Commission, as well as the approval of Ukraine's negotiating positions. These negotiations are important for Ukraine, which hopes to join the European Union. Several clusters have already been prepared for the start of negotiations, with the first cluster regarding fundamental rights being the most important. It is also known that an informal meeting of European ministers will take place in Copenhagen on September 1, where Ukraine's accession to the EU will be discussed. A new package of sanctions against Russia is planned to be adopted in order to force Moscow to achieve peace and end the war. It is worth noting that it was previously known that Moldova's potential accession to the EU could happen earlier than Ukraine's.
