In Lviv region, the wife of a deceased soldier won 15 million UAH from the Ministry of Defense.
The wife of the deceased Ukrainian soldier won a lawsuit against the Ministry of Defense. Initially, she was denied compensation, as her husband's death was attributed to illness. However, the court deemed this rejection unlawful and ordered the necessary amount to be paid.
The court ruling stated that the plaintiff's husband was mobilized in 2022 and died in 2023 during combat duty in the Kharkiv region. During this time, he dedicated his life as a soldier, defending the country from external threats.
According to the court's decision, the Ministry of Defense must pay the wife of the deceased soldier 15 million hryvnias as a one-time assistance. This verdict was issued after a successful review of the case in the Lviv District Administrative Court.
The Ukrainian war leaves deep scars in the families of fallen soldiers. The court's decision in this case has become a just ruling that provides support to the family of the fallen hero and recognizes his contribution to the defense of the country.
