Armed civilians attacked TCC employees in Mykolaiv region: there are injured.
On Sunday, August 3, in the village of Buzke, Mykolaiv region, unknown individuals attacked employees of the territorial center for recruitment. They were conducting notification activities together with a police officer.
The press service of the Mykolaiv regional TCC reported this on Facebook.
Attack on TCC employees in Mykolaiv region on August 3
Civilians armed with bats and metal pipes damaged a vehicle and injured a TCC employee.
'In self-defense, this serviceman fired from a traumatic pistol, registered in accordance with the law', the message reads.
According to preliminary data, there are injuries among TCC employees and civilians. Law enforcement agencies are currently working at the scene.
Punishment for the attack
The TCC reminded that insulting the dignity, threatening the life or property of a serviceman who is involved in activities ensuring national security and defense will be punished by imprisonment for a term of three to five years.
In the event of beatings or bodily harm, the punishment can be up to 12 years of imprisonment. Such actions may also be regarded as obstruction of the lawful activities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
