According to Novyny.live: A traffic accident involving an intoxicated driver occurred in the Berezivka district of Odesa Oblast, leaving two female passengers injured. The incident took place on March 13 in a settlement within the Raukhivka community, when a 55-year-old local resident lost control of his Opel vehicle. The car veered off the road and slammed into a fence.
Two women, aged 63 and 48, sustained injuries in the crash and were hospitalized. According to law enforcement, the driver’s alcohol test registered 0.84 per mille—four times the legal limit. Investigators have opened a criminal case under the article addressing traffic safety violations committed by a driver under the influence of alcohol.

The penalty for this offense includes up to three years in prison and a driving ban lasting up to five years. Authorities are currently deciding whether to formally notify the man of suspicion and select a preventive measure.
