Russians carried out 670 drone strikes in a day: how the Armed Forces of Ukraine are resisting in the south.
In recent days, there has been a significant increase in kamikaze drone attacks in the southern direction, surpassing the average indicators of previous weeks.
Increase in drone strikes
Spokesman of the OК 'South' Vladislav Voloshin reported that the number of kamikaze drone attacks has suddenly increased compared to the previous days. 'In the last day, we recorded almost 670 such strikes. Usually, we note about 400-450' - he emphasized.
Voloshin stressed that this influx of attacks indicates the enemy's attempt to wear down Ukrainian defenses in the south. Air defense units are working in an enhanced mode, trying to stop the maximum number of threats. Local residents are advised to strictly adhere to safety rules and respond to air raid signals.
Offensive in southern Ukraine: what is known
It was previously reported that Russian forces continue their offensive actions in the southern direction. The main goal now is to get as close as possible to the Antonivskyi bridges to deliver more strikes on the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
In the southern direction in Ukraine, a significant increase in kamikaze drone attacks has been recorded, indicating the enemy's attempt to exhaust the defense. Ukrainian military, including air defense, are working in an enhanced mode to protect the population and critical infrastructure facilities.
