In Rivne region, two brothers organized a channel for illegal border crossing.

Two brothers involved in illegal border crossing were exposed in Rivne region. The Office of the Prosecutor General reported the charges against the men for organizing the illegal transportation of people across the state border of Ukraine.

According to the investigation, the two brothers from the Sarny district in Rivne region were searching for clients among conscripted men. For a monetary reward, they offered a detailed plan and consultations for fleeing from Ukraine through checkpoints.

The brothers were detained while illegally transporting two men across the border. To evade detection, the offenders used a motorcycle, a tractor, and a horse-drawn cart. They received $10,000 for their services.

Both suspects were placed in custody with the possibility of bail set at 242,240 hryvnias for each.

In Chernihiv region, law enforcement exposed a 27-year-old local resident who organized illegal border crossing.

Reduction in the number of vacancies and job candidates

According to a study by Work.ua, in December 2024, the number of vacancies on this website decreased by 19%, while the number of active candidates seeking jobs decreased by 6%. This reduction is explained by the New Year holidays.
