In Rivne region, rescuers saved a stork from a well: touching photos.
In Rivne region, rescuers saved a stork that fell into a well eight meters deep. They went down into the well and pulled the bird out using a hand winch. The stork was unharmed and returned to its natural habitat.
Earlier in Lviv region, rescuers saved a heron that got caught on a tree in the middle of a lake with a rope. It could not free itself and was hanging upside down at a height of about 15 meters.
Also, the hippopotamus Lily returned to the summer enclosure in the Kyiv Zoo after the winter-spring cold. Animals and birds have been moved to summer houses and platforms since the beginning of summer. Visitors to the park will be able to see the hippopotamus starting this Saturday.
A wild cat, considered a nearly extinct species in Ukraine, was spotted in the "Medobory" Nature Reserve in Ternopil region.
