Tourists in Europe are soon facing a 'weather apocalypse': details.
The weather forecast for the next 10-14 days has shocked Europeans. According to the European weather model ECMWF, a significant amount of rain is expected, which could be twice as powerful as the rains that occurred in Valencia in 2024, causing the deaths of many people.
Forecasters warn of a large-scale rainstorm expected over the next two weeks from Italy to Greece. This could lead to significant flooding and disasters. Experts advise being prepared for possible transportation chaos, evacuations, and power outages. Tourism may also suffer serious losses.
It is worth noting that in October of this year, Spain was hit by heavy rains that caused flooding and led to the deaths of many people. Water-filled residents were forced to seek refuge on rooftops and telephone poles. The total number of victims stands at 217 people.
