A poet and prose writer Oleksiy Bezpaltsiev has died in the war.
Ukrainian poet and prose writer Oleksiy Bezpaltsiev was killed on the Kharkiv front during combat operations. He held the defense on the Pokrovsk direction for a year and was 34 years old. PEN Ukraine emphasizes that Bezpaltsiev was known for his emotional performances and was considered by many to be the best President of Kharkiv and the King of Kharkiv trash and underground.
Another casualty on the front of the Russian-Ukrainian war is actor Yakiv Tkachenko. He joined the ranks of the territorial defense of Dnipro in the first days of the invasion and was part of the 128th Territorial Defense Brigade. Tkachenko is known for his roles in the films 'Dovbush', 'Priputni', 'The Price of Truth', 'Shameful Bondage', and 'The Carrier'.
One acquaintance wrote about Bezpaltsiev: 'He always loved movies, music, poetry, trash, drinking, and riding a bicycle.' Both of the deceased distinguished themselves with their talent and contributions to Ukrainian culture.
