In Vinnytsia, a woman killed her partner with an axe.

A tragedy occurred in Vinnytsia region when during their party, a woman struck her husband in the head with an axe, resulting in his death. For this horrific act, she faces up to 15 years in prison. The incident took place on the night of December 13 to 14 in one of the villages of the Ivanivka territorial community.

According to the woman, she killed her husband due to differences in views on life situations. She immediately called an ambulance and the police, but her husband died before the medics arrived.

The perpetrator was detained at the scene, and her case will be examined in a temporary detention center. The body of the deceased was sent for forensic examination to determine the cause of death. The woman has been notified of suspicion of committing intentional murder. Investigators from the police department, together with prosecutors, will be investigating all the circumstances of this crime during the pre-trial investigation.
