'Around 14:00 on July 12, an unknown person attacked a serviceman when demanding to present documents, striking him twice with a shovel to the face and hand, after which he fled the scene,' the message said.
The injured serviceman was taken to the trauma center. The medical examination revealed a broken finger and a bruise on the cheek.
The attacker has now been charged with threats or violence against a public official according to the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
Earlier, a similar incident occurred in the Poltava region when a woman attacked a TCC employee over her son's mobilization. There was also an incident in the Kyiv region where a man died as a result of the actions of TCC employees.
