Illegal Trafficking Channel Revealed in Transcarpathia: Organizers Detained.
According to inkorr.com: An organized channel for the illegal transportation of people across the state border has been discovered in Transcarpathia. The criminals used cars and motorcycles to cross the Tisza River. According to the State Border Guard Service, border guards, jointly with the SBU and police, uncovered this scheme.
As a result of the operation conducted on the outskirts of the village of Vodytsia in the Rakhiv district, two residents of Kyiv were detained. They attempted to smuggle five individuals from other regions of Ukraine to Romania. These traffickers organized the route, escorting a Volkswagen car with motorcycles carrying the passengers. The cost of transportation ranged from 10,000 to 20,000 dollars each.
Officials compiled administrative materials against the detainees in accordance with the articles of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses. The organizers were also detained and reported suspicion under the article of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. Recently, contraband gadgets attempted to be brought into the country by a citizen of Ukraine were also discovered at the Odesa customs.
