According to ТСН: A large fire broke out in Kyiv. Photos of thick smoke over Shevchenko Square appeared on social media. The fire started at the market.
The State Emergency Service of Kyiv reported that the fire flared up in the market's trading row.
“There is a threat of the fire spreading to other kiosks. The approximate area of the fire is 150 m². Rescuers are working at an elevated alarm level,”
— noted the capital's emergency service.
Firefighters are already trying to extinguish the flames. Currently, there is no information about any casualties.
It was previously reported that as a result of another large-scale fire in a high-rise building in the Shevchenkivskyi district of Kyiv, two people died. Nine individuals were rescued from smoke-filled apartments.
