Tourist nearly went insane on the Golden Bridge in Vietnam: what happened.
According to ТСН: The Golden Bridge in Vietnam near Danang has become a popular spot for Instagram bloggers and tourists. The structure is 150 meters long and 1400 meters high above sea level. The bridge, which seems to be supported by the 'hands of a god', not only amazed with its beauty but also became a real challenge for tourist Amy Jones.
Trap in a glass cage
Amy knew that the bridge was located at a great height, but she wasn't prepared for the journey that preceded her visit. To reach the bridge, one must take the cable car at the Sun World amusement park.
'I was panicking at the height, so being locked in what resembled a glass cage ascending high into the sky was not fun at all,' the traveler recounts.
The longest journey of my life
The situation was complicated by the weather. The higher the cabin rose, the stronger the gusts of wind became.
'The cabin moved slowly, and I felt it swaying from side to side. It was an astonishing height — 1414 meters above sea level. It felt like the longest journey of my life,' recalls Amy Jones.
Due to fear, she couldn't even look out the window or take photos. The clouds obscuring the view added a sense of mystique and anxiety.
Is it worth it
When Amy finally found herself on the bridge, her legs were shaking. She dared to look down and saw the cable car cabins hanging above the endless greenery.
However, the stress experienced during the trip was justified.
'It was absolutely worth it. The Golden Bridge in real life is even more impressive, with its giant hands and curvy golden structure,' the tourist summarized.
Amy also noted that she felt safer on the bridge, knowing that there were only a few meters to the ground on one side of her.
Interestingly, events at the Golden Bridge occur against the backdrop of a growing interest in similar tourist attractions. They are becoming not only selfie spots but real tests of character for many travelers seeking adrenaline and experiences at height. Additionally, it's interesting that other countries continue to develop similar projects, trying to attract tourists with thrilling and unforgettable experiences.
