MP Fediyenko commented on the possible mobilization of women in Ukraine.
The Ukrainian army has many vacancies that require people
Member of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Security, Defense, and Intelligence Oleksandr Fediyenko stated that the Ukrainian army has many vacancies that require people. He claims that no one will force women against their will to take up guns and sit in the trenches. This was reported by Kyiv24.news.
Of course, with all due respect to the women's military community, I have met many women at the front in various positions. But indeed, the Armed Forces of Ukraine, for example, lack financiers.
Fediyenko noted that the Armed Forces of Ukraine lack specialists in the financial sector, particularly economists and accountants. This leads to inefficient use of funds in some military units.
We are not talking about women who will be running into trenches with guns. We are talking about women servicemen, those liable for military service, those who will be at the front voluntarily (regardless of the position – “Glavkom”).
Recall that the Ambassador of Ukraine to the United Kingdom and former Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Valerii Zaluzhny, stated that the mobilization of women in Ukraine is unacceptable and that it may be resorted to only in extreme necessity.
