Consequences of KAB attacks on Kharkiv: hits in a high-rise building, cars also caught fire.
On the evening of October 2, 2024, Russian occupiers attacked Kharkiv again, using guided aviation bombs (KABs).
According to the mayor Igor Terekhov, missile strikes occurred in the Shevchenkivsky and Kyivsky districts of the city.
One of the aerial bombs hit a residential building, causing a fire in the building itself and in nearby cars. Preliminary data indicates eight people were injured. Information on damages and casualties is being clarified.
The head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration, Oleg Synegubov, confirmed the attack and reported the destruction of civilian infrastructure. According to him, another aerial bomb hit a forest belt.
Emergency services are currently working at the scene. According to the media group "Nakipilo. Kharkiv", in addition to the fire, windows and cars of local residents' houses were damaged.
The city authorities urge residents to be cautious due to the possibility of new attacks.
