During the night attack on Odesa region on August 18, in addition to energy infrastructure facilities, residential buildings were damaged. Law enforcement opened a case regarding the commission of war crimes, and people are currently calculating the damages.

As a result of the strikes, civilian infrastructure was damaged. In particular, an object of the fuel and energy sector and premises of a logistics company. Two private houses and two cars were also affected. The sewage pumping station was destroyed by the bombardment.

Houses without windows

In Olga's house, the shockwave blew out all the windows and doors. Fortunately, she was not at home during the shelling. The woman says: her neighbor almost died during the attack.

'Everything is fine with my neighbor and her husband, fortunately. During the impact, he fell into the bushes, and when he got up, he saw a large hole in the fence from a fragment. It's strange that he is still alive.' — says Olga.

The woman hopes for assistance from the state, as winter is coming, and she cannot restore everything at her own expense. Windows and doors are currently expensive, and she simply doesn't have the money for it.

As a result of the night attack on Odesa region, in addition to the fuel and energy infrastructure facility, residential buildings were also damaged. Law enforcement initiated an investigation regarding the possible commission of war crimes, and local residents are assessing the damages caused. The victims of the attack are hoping for assistance from the state, as they cannot restore the damages on their own due to significant financial burden.
