The American statement regarding the possible closure of the sky over Ukraine raises serious interest in Kyiv. According to military expert Viktor Yahun, this process can be implemented quite quickly and effectively, especially if NATO countries join in. He emphasized that NATO aircraft are already sufficient to ensure safety over Ukraine, and with the possible deployment of AWACS aircraft, the area of control can be significantly expanded. It was also noted that Russia is trying to strike at the efforts of the USA, Europe, and Ukraine in ensuring peace in the country.
