Even Those with Deferments Must Report: New Warning Issued to Conscripts for Mandatory Draft Board Appearance.
Mobilization in Ukraine
According to Novyny.live: Ukraine continues its mobilization efforts, and all citizens—including those who hold official deferments (bronyuvannya)—are required to respond to summonses issued by Territorial Centers for Recruitment and Social Support (known as TCCs). Ignoring these summonses is not an option, as it can lead to severe repercussions, including criminal liability. A specific type of summons, which functions as a mobilization order, cannot be disregarded; failure to comply gives the TCC the authority to place the individual on a wanted list.
Yuriy Ayvazyan stated: 'If you fail to appear upon receiving a summons, the TCC will put you on the wanted list.'
Preparing for Your Visit to the Draft Board
Before heading to the TCC, citizens must secure an extract from the Ministry of Economy's order at their place of employment. This step is crucial, as the document verifies a person's official status at the time of mobilization. Pavlo Hretchenko urged: 'Ask your employer for an extract from the Ministry of Economy's order,' highlighting the need to follow all administrative procedures.
The summonses issued to individuals on the military register come in several types and are used to carry out general mobilization. City and village councils have the authority to send these summonses to conscripts, underscoring the gravity of the situation and the importance of fulfilling one's duties to the state. Citizens must understand that meeting this obligation is vital not only for themselves but also for ensuring the country's defense capabilities during wartime.
Given the ongoing military conflict, the mobilization situation in Ukraine remains critically important. Fulfilling conscription duties is an essential component of national security. It is imperative that citizens recognize the seriousness of their responsibilities and act on them, as this directly impacts the nation's ability to protect its territory and its people.
