No strength': Zelensky commented on the return of Crimea and Donbas.

The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky stated that the Ukrainian army does not have the necessary strength to regain control over Donbas and Crimea, but Ukraine cannot give up these territories.

According to Zelensky, Ukrainians will have to rely on diplomatic pressure from the international community to force Russian leader Vladimir Putin to sit at the negotiating table.

The Constitution of Ukraine prohibits us from doing this. De facto, these territories are currently controlled by the Russians. We do not have the strength to take them back. We can only rely on diplomatic pressure from the international community to force Putin to sit at the negotiating table,' the president stated.

Meanwhile, Zelensky expressed surprise at the West's weak position on this issue.

Why have we not received support in the form of weapons since the beginning of the war? Maybe my words seemed presumptuous. But I have the impression that everyone is afraid of Putin and Russia. He feels unpunished. We need a strong America and Europe that can pressure Putin and stop this war,' Zelensky emphasized.

Zelensky also noted that currently Ukraine is neither in a position of weakness nor in a position of strength to conclude peace agreements.

Are we still not in NATO? We do not know. Will we become part of the European Union? Yes, in the future, but when? To sit at the negotiating table with Putin in our current situation means to give him the right to decide everything concerning our region. First, we must develop a model or plan of action, provide a peace option. Then we can present it to Putin or, in general, to the Russians,' the president emphasized.

According to him, no world leader has the right to negotiate with Putin without Ukraine's participation.

We did not give anyone a mandate for this. We are the victims. It would be unfair if everyone started telling us how we should live. The French in France, the Italians in Italy, or the Americans in the USA - they know what they want for their country. We, Ukrainians, also have our vision,' Zelensky added.
