Neo-Nazi Fled Germany Before Imprisonment

According to The Sun: A neo-Nazi who changed gender after committing a series of horrific crimes fled Germany before her sentence was to begin.

Marla-Svenya Libich, 54, received an 18-month prison sentence in a women's prison but managed to evade justice thanks to a mysterious message online.

Saxony police confirmed that Libich has not been found and believe she has gone underground. Law enforcement discovered a voice message that was spread in Telegram by right-wing extremists.

A police representative stated to Bild:

“The message states that the person who was supposed to be incarcerated feels unwell and has left the country.”

Suspicions were confirmed when an alarming message appeared on Libich's X profile in the evening:

“Magic trick: all eyes are glued to the stage while the object disappears into the shadows. No one knew about my decision - neither the lawyer nor the family. What next? An international arrest warrant just for words, just for thought.”

It is currently believed that Libich may have chosen Russia as she is an active supporter of Vladimir Putin and his aggression in Ukraine. Previously she even sold merchandise featuring the Russian ultra-nationalist symbol “Z”.

Libich, formerly known as Sven, was a member of the banned neo-Nazi group Blood and Honour. In July 2023, she was convicted of inciting hatred, criminal insults, and misappropriation of other people's property. One of the most disgraceful acts was promoting a baseball bat as “aiding in deportation.”

At the time of the crimes and the trial, Libich was male, but at the end of 2024, her official gender was changed to female at her request.

When Libich appeared in court earlier this month, she was dressed in a leopard blouse, a large hat, and makeup, although she retained a mustache. Her gender transition shocked many, as she has long been a vocal opponent of the LGBTQ community.

Libich celebrated Pride Month in 2022 by posting an image with a burning rainbow flag and the caption:

“Finally, marginalized alphabet people are visible again while for the remaining 11 months everything will be about humiliating them again.”

There are fears that her gender change may be an attempt to exploit a new law that simplified the process of changing registered gender in Germany.

This law has provisions that allow individuals to simply declare their intention to change gender at the local registration office without the need for expert opinions from doctors.

Libich's choice to leave Germany before imprisonment and the risk of exploiting new laws raises concerns among law enforcement and human rights advocates. Her future actions could significantly impact the situation regarding extremism and human rights in the country.

Given her past and ideology, this issue will remain in focus for both law enforcement and society as a whole.
