Louvre Robbery Video: Thieves Escape on Scooters in Front of Paris.
New Footage of the Louvre Museum Robbery
According to The Sun: Impressive new video recordings have emerged showing how criminals, who stole artworks worth £76 million, flee the crime scene using an elevator with their loot.
The video shows that there were no police officers or security guards in sight as the thieves descended back onto the sidewalk and quickly disappeared on scooters. The footage features two masked men, one of whom is wearing a bright blue vest.
This situation raises concerns about the security of museums and the protection of cultural assets, as such incidents can undermine not only well-known institutions but also public trust in the security system. Authorities promise to conduct an investigation and enhance security measures in cultural establishments.
