Five Wounded in Overnight Kharkiv Strike, Including Elderly Women.
Kharkiv Under Fire: June 10 Update
According to Novyny.live: On the night of June 10, Russian forces launched over 20 strikes on Kharkiv's Kholodnohirskyi district, leaving five people injured. As of 05:49, the wounded include women aged 35, 42, 68, and 81. Mayor Ihor Terekhov also reported that on the evening of June 9, a Shahed drone hit a residential building, injuring three people, among them a 14-year-old girl.
Escalating Violence
In addition, Oleh Syniehubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, reported 26 drone strikes across the city. Terekhov noted another strike hit a forested area in Shevchenkivskyi district, causing no casualties or damage. These events underscore a sharp escalation in hostilities, with attacks intensifying in both frequency and reach.
The ongoing bombardment of Kharkiv highlights the sustained military activity in the region, raising serious concerns for civilian safety. The increasing use of drones suggests a tactical shift by the aggressor, posing greater risks to non-combatants. Local and regional authorities continue to work on security measures and aid for the victims.
