Three Wounded in Russian Airstrike on Izium, Including Two Children.
Aftermath of the Air Strike in Izium
According to UATV: On July 17, a Russian airstrike in the city of Izium, located in the Kharkiv region, left three people injured—two of them minors. According to reports, an 8-year-old boy suffered blast injuries, while a 16-year-old girl was wounded by shattered glass. A 40-year-old man sustained similar glass-related injuries. All victims are currently receiving medical care.
Oleh Syniehubov provided details of the incident: 'An 8-year-old boy sustained explosive injuries, a 16-year-old girl was cut by glass, and a 40-year-old man suffered the same type of wounds. Medical assistance is being provided to all those affected.'
Attacks on Civilian Infrastructure
This attack occurred alongside other hostile actions, including a strike by Russian Shahed-238 drones on port facilities in Mykolaiv, which resulted in two fatalities. The ongoing assaults on civilian areas, particularly residential neighborhoods, continue to alarm both local populations and the international community. The increasing frequency of airstrikes signals an escalation of the conflict, further threatening regional safety and stability. While the injured are receiving necessary medical attention, the risks to civilians remain dangerously high as military operations persist.
