Norwegian journalist will cover 450 km to support Ukrainian media.
A Norwegian journalist will embark on a journey from Oslo to Bergen to support Ukrainian media
Norwegian journalist Nils Ove Holland Riiise has decided to undertake a charitable journey from Oslo to Bergen to raise funds for Ukrainian regional media. He expressed gratitude to Ukrainian journalists for their important work and heroism in the face of danger. During the journey, he will sleep in a tent and share his impressions on social media, using the GoFundMe platform to raise funds for the editorial offices.
“I have long dreamed of this journey. Supporting Ukrainian journalists is an important cause for me, one worth backing,” emphasized Nils Ove Riiise.
International cooperation for the benefit of Ukrainian media
It is worth noting that the Norwegian Parliament has passed a tourism tax to curb mass tourist flows and improve tourist infrastructure. Additionally, the Norwegian Ministry of Defense has reported on the development of drones in Ukraine, collaborating with the company Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace.
Supporting Ukrainian journalists is very important for our society and democracy. The initiative of journalist Nils Ove Holland Riiise and the international cooperation between Norway and Ukraine in the development of unmanned aerial vehicles emphasize the significance of supporting freedom of speech and international cooperation.
