Ryanair launches 10 new routes from Bratislava: where to fly from 2026

According to ТСН: The Irish low-cost airline Ryanair is significantly expanding its presence at Slovakia's main airport. In the schedule for 2026, the company plans to operate a record number of flights from Bratislava - 33 routes, of which 10 will be completely new. This is important for Ukrainians, as the capital of Slovakia is one of the accessible hubs for international flights.

This was announced on the airline's website.

New Ryanair routes from Bratislava in the new year

The network will add flights to the following cities:

  • Alicante;

  • Athens;

  • Barcelona;

  • Warsaw;

  • Lamezia Terme;

  • Malaga;

  • Naples;

  • Palermo;

  • Pisa;

  • Tirana.

The company also confirmed that next year three Ryanair planes will be based in Bratislava. This will allow an increase in passenger traffic through the airport by approximately 70% - to 2 million travelers per year.

The CEO of Ryanair, Michael O'Leary, noted that the growth was made possible by Slovakia's policy towards aviation development - reducing fees and the absence of environmental taxes.

Promotion for the start of the new schedule

Together with the announcement of new routes, Ryanair has begun a three-day ticket sale through Bratislava. The cheapest fares start from 24.99 euros.

What else will low-cost airline Ryanair change

Previously, the company completely eliminated paper tickets, leaving only electronic boarding passes. In 2025, the carrier also revised its hand luggage rules: passengers can bring one free item measuring 40×30×20 cm on board.

The expansion of Ryanair's route network from Bratislava opens new opportunities for travelers seeking affordable and convenient travel options. The growing competition in the air transportation market may positively affect ticket prices, increasing travel accessibility for Ukrainians and other Europeans.
