The Ministry of Defense appointed a new spokesperson: who is Orest Drymalovsky.
The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has introduced a new official spokesperson — military serviceman and journalist Orest Drymalovsky. He has experience serving in Donetsk and a long career in Ukrainian media. He joined the Ministry of Defense after participating in combat actions as part of the 79th Air Assault Brigade.
New Ministry of Defense Spokesperson — Orest Drymalovsky
Orest Drymalovsky, a military serviceman and media person, has become the new spokesperson for the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
'Orest defended Ukraine as part of the 79th separate air assault Tavriya brigade in Donetsk. For his exceptional service, he was awarded the 'Cross of Valor'', — noted in the Ministry of Defense.
He has been working in journalism since 2015. He graduated from Lviv National University named after Ivan Franko, worked as a correspondent and presenter on the 'Pерший Західний' channel, and later on the 'Windows-News' program on STB. In February 2024, Drymalovsky joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Now he has joined the Ministry of Defense team to be responsible for the agency's communication with the public and media.
