Restrictions for drivers, postponement, reservation, new hryvnias: what awaits Ukrainians in November.
In November 2024, several important changes will occur in various areas of life in Ukraine. In particular, from November 1 in cities such as Kyiv and Dnipro, the maximum speed will be reduced from 80 to 50 km/h on some road sections. Deputy Head of the Patrol Police Department Oleksiy Biloshitsky explained that such practice is standard for the winter season.
The National Bank will start withdrawing banknotes of 50 and 200 hryvnias denominations from 2003-2007 from circulation. Citizens do not need to specially exchange this money.
By November 5, students of medical, veterinary, and pharmaceutical specialties will be able to activate state grants using the "Diia" application. The size of the grant depends on the NMT scores: 150+ points - grant from 15,000 UAH, 170+ points - grant from 25,000 UAH.
The government has allocated 2 billion UAH for free meals for students in grades 1-4. The cost of meals is 50 hryvnias per day.
The government is conducting an audit of the reservation system for conscripts. New rules are being discussed, such as restrictions on reservations for enterprises with salaries less than 19,000 UAH and the possible reduction of quotas for reservations at critically important enterprises.
