Registry Glitch or New Mobilization? 'Limited Fitness' Status Disappears for Some Ukrainians.
Military Registration and the 'Limited Fitness' Category
According to Novyny.live: A recent discovery has raised alarms about possible data errors in Ukraine’s military registration system. One citizen, previously classified as having 'limited fitness' for service, found he was no longer listed in the registry—blocking his ability to secure a job deferment. This incident has sparked broader concerns over the accuracy of military records and what it might mean for upcoming mobilization efforts.
Until recently, individuals deemed 'limited fit' were not called up for full military duty but remained on the rolls. Following legislative changes, these former 'limited fit' citizens have been reclassified as fully liable for service. The new law, already passed by the Verkhovna Rada but not yet signed by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, could open the door to mobilizing these individuals—potentially as early as age 25.
How to Fix a Registration Error at the Territorial Recruitment Center
Experts suggest the missing entries may stem from a technical flaw in the database.
“Most likely, this is a technical issue within the registry itself,” noted Yuriy Ayvazyan.Vladyslav Deriy advises affected individuals to try the 'Correct Data' option in the 'Reserve+' app, adding that 'if it’s a technical error, this might resolve it.' The situation underscores the urgent need to address registration and status issues, as inaccuracies could compromise citizens' rights and opportunities amid ongoing mobilization.
This case highlights how critical data integrity is in military registries, especially during times of legislative flux and conscription. Errors not only disrupt individual lives but also risk broader social stability and legal protections for those subject to mobilization. Swift resolution of these technical glitches is essential to maintain trust in the system and ensure fair treatment of all registrants.
