On September 14, another 103 Ukrainians who were held in Russian captivity returned to Ukraine. This Time, among the released were 38 National Guard members. These Ukrainian military personnel took part in the defense against Russian occupiers in various regions: the city of Mariupol (69 people, including 31 defenders of "Azovstal"), Donetsk region, Luhansk region, Zaporizhzhia, Kherson, Kharkiv, and Kyiv directions. Among the released there are also 2 guards from the Chernobyl NPP.

The released military personnel will undergo medical examination and receive opportunities for physical and psychological rehabilitation, as well as due payments for the time spent in captivity. The process of their reintegration into society is also ensured.

Currently, more than 900 "Azov" fighters are held in Russian captivity, but yesterday it was possible to return 49 civilians and military personnel from Russian captivity to Ukraine.
