Deadly Shelling Strikes Druzhkivka in Donetsk Region
According to UATV: On February 4, a Russian military strike using cluster munitions hit a market in the city of Druzhkivka, located in Ukraine's Donetsk region. The attack killed seven people and wounded eight others. This incident is part of a pattern of attacks on civilian infrastructure that has characterized the ongoing war.
The assault also involved two aerial bombs, which caused significant destruction. The shelling damaged the following:
- an industrial area
- three apartment buildings
- three private houses
Commenting on the event, Vadym Filashkin stated: 'This is yet another deliberate war crime and further proof that all Russian statements about a 'ceasefire' are worthless.'
This attack adds to the alarming civilian casualty toll in the region. The use of cluster munitions and aerial bombs highlights the intensifying violence and underscores the urgent need for international attention.
