Shelling of Odesa - the number of victims has become known.
The Russian Federation again launched a massive attack on Odesa at night, targeting the historical center of the city. As a result of the shelling, a 9-story building was damaged, and currently, 3 people are reported injured.
This was reported by the State Emergency Service of Odesa region.
Consequences of the attack
Significant damage as a result of the shelling was inflicted on a 9-story building in Odesa: apartments from the 5th to the 8th floors were destroyed. A fire broke out in one of the entrances. Rescuers saved 5 people from blocked premises, and 33 residents were evacuated.
'Psychologists from the SES and the National Police worked with local residents. Cynologists were on site to search for potential victims in the destroyed apartments. A total of 26 units of equipment and 112 rescuers were involved from the SES,' - reported the SES.
Other consequences
One of the hit objects was the famous Pryvoz market. Fires broke out in the trading pavilions, which were extinguished by rescuers.
In addition, rescuers eliminated the consequences of the attack at other addresses, where a fire occurred in a private house and at a gas station. Primorsky Boulevard also suffered as a result of the shelling.
How transport operates
As a result of the night shelling, the movement of public transportation was changed. Due to the attack, the exit from Depot No. 1 became temporarily unavailable.
Specifically, the movement of trams No. 13, 27, 10, 3 was changed. Routes No. 5, 28, 18, 17 temporarily suspended their movement. However, most routes have now been restored, but trolleybus No. 10 will still operate only to Rishelievska Street.
After the massive attack by Russian forces on Odesa, significant destruction occurred in the city center. As a result of the shelling, residential buildings, the Pryvoz market, and other facilities were damaged. Rescuers continue to eliminate the consequences of the attack and ensure safety at the sites.
