Ukrainian fisherman won first place at the world carp fishing championship
From September 4 to 7, the 24th world carp fishing championship took place in Croatia. Odessan Vladyslav Suzdaltsev became the winner of this competition, taking first place.
Ukraine was represented by the best national team of athletes, who turned out to be the best at the Ukrainian Championship and Cup in 2024.
The national team of Ukraine took fifth place in the team competition, but in the individual competition, Ihor Patsyra and Vladyslav Suzdaltsev took first place, ahead of the national teams of England and Hungary.
Ukrainian athletes caught the largest fish in the competition, weighing 14 kg 370 grams. In terms of the total number of fish, they also scored the most among all teams.
