Odesa climbers won medals at the Ukrainian Cup.
The Ukrainian Cup in climbing (speed) was held in Kropyvnytskyi
From December 5 to 7, 2024, the Ukrainian Cup in climbing (speed) took place in Kropyvnytskyi, reports the Odesa City Council.
A total of 149 athletes participated in the competition - 67 women and 82 men.
The Odesa team was represented by students of the Odesa Specialized Children's and Youth Sports School of Olympic Reserve in climbing and the Odesa Regional School of Higher Sports Mastery 'Olympiets'.
Yevhenia Kolesnyk, a student of the SDYUSSHOR in climbing, won a silver medal at the stage of the Ukrainian Cup. Furthermore, she improved her result in the final part of the competition and became the winner.
Konstantin Pavlenko, a student of the Odesa Regional School of Higher Sports Mastery 'Olympiets', also won a silver medal at the stage of the Ukrainian Cup.
The coaches Lyubov Zymova and Tetiana Pashaeva prepared the athletes for the competitions.
Let’s remember that on November 22-23, the Ukrainian Judo Championship for younger cadets up to 17 years old took place in Uzhhorod.
