Start of the Privatization of the Odesa Portside Plant
According to inkorr.com: The State Property Fund of Ukraine has announced the start of the large-scale privatization of the Odesa Portside Plant. The electronic auction will take place on November 25, 2025, and the starting price of the lot will be 4.5 billion UAH.
This plant is a unique enterprise specializing in the production of fertilizers. It is located on the shores of the Small Adzhalytsky Liman near Odesa. After the war began, the enterprise operated partially, but now full privatization is planned.
Recently, Maksym Kryppa, the owner of the Parys business center, acquired a stake in the International Exhibition Center. The authorities also uncovered a scheme for the illegal alienation of state property worth over a million Hryvnias.
The Odesa Portside Plant has the potential to significantly influence the fertilizer market in Ukraine. The privatization of such a strategic enterprise may be an important step in the development of the economy and attracting investments into the country. We will monitor the further stages of this process.
