Chernihiv Officer Fined for Bribery of $2000: Details of the Scandal.
In Chernihiv, a senior officer of the mobilization accounting department was sentenced for receiving a bribe of two thousand dollars. He promised to assist the conscript in enrolling in a military unit that does not participate in combat operations.

While on duty, the officer overheard a soldier looking for a way to join a unit without participating in combat. For 2000 dollars, he promised to help with the enrollment. After receiving half of the bribe, he was apprehended.
Court Decision
The defendant confessed and expressed remorse in court. Taking into account his age, family status, and lack of previous convictions, he was fined 51,000 hryvnias.
It is noteworthy that in Ivano-Frankivsk, an entrepreneur sold humanitarian vehicles and was also fined. Additionally, a man in Ternopil region profited from funds for the treatment of wounded servicemen and received ten years in prison.
