Obtaining the status of combatant now possible in 'Дія': government decree.
Obtaining the status of combatant has become easier thanks to the 'Дія' portal
Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov announced that now it is possible to obtain the status of combatant through the 'Дія' portal.
He noted that their team is working on reducing bureaucratic processes for defenders. Recently, a veteran's certificate was introduced into 'Дія', and soon it will be possible to obtain the status of combatant with just a few clicks on this portal.
Applications for obtaining the status can be submitted through a special commission or a military unit, but the service in 'Дія' will simplify this process for defenders and reduce the load on the personnel services of military units.
Additionally, it will be possible to submit an application for obtaining the status in any CNAP, regardless of place of residence.
It should be noted that a new document - a digital veteran's certificate - has also become available in the 'Дія' application. The Cabinet of Ministers approved changes to the legislation that provide for the use of only a digital certificate without a paper one.
The Cabinet of Ministers also determined the priority of certain categories and allocated 71 million UAH for the professional adaptation of war veterans, their family members, and families of deceased defenders in 2024.
