Russian troops continue to advance
According to the Institute for the Study of War (ISW), Russian troops continue to advance in the Kursk region and in the directions of Toretsk, Kurakhiv, and Vuhledar. In Kursk, Russian troops advanced south of Novoiivanky. It was also claimed that Russian troops captured Daryno and Plekhovo, but this information has not been confirmed. In Toretsk, Russian troops advanced northwest along Fabrichna Street. In Kurakhiv, they advanced southwest from Dalne. In the Vuhledar direction, Russian troops advanced to Veselyi Hai. Ukrainian forces are also continuing to advance south of Pokrovsk with Russian losses. Overall, Russian troops are achieving tactical successes on the outskirts of various settlements, but the costs are significantly depleting their reserves.
