Mobile internet will be disconnected in Crimea for several days: what is known about the reasons.
In the Crimean Peninsula, which has been occupied by the Russian army, mobile internet has started to be disconnected. The 'authorities' explain this by attacks from Ukrainian drones, but the duration of the disconnection far exceeds the time of the attacks.
This was reported by TSN.
The occupiers are urging the residents of Crimea to stock up on cash since payment terminals will not work in stores, public transport, and other establishments. The reaction of Crimeans to this step taken by the occupiers is currently unknown.
It should be noted that there was previously information about the disconnection of mobile internet in Siberia, as well as similar actions by the Russian authorities in the occupied territories of Luhansk.
The government of occupied Crimea is again complicating the lives of local residents by disconnecting them from mobile internet and forcing them to rely solely on cash. The reasons for these actions remain unknown, and residents have to shockingly come to terms with the new restrictions.
