Occupants found a cynical way to eradicate the Ukrainian language from Zaporizhzhia.
The Russian occupants continue to Russify the Zaporizhzhia region by imposing fines on residents of the occupied territories for using the Ukrainian language. This was reported by the Center for National Resistance.
In the temporarily occupied territories, the Russians are destroying Ukrainian identity and conducting a policy of total Russification. The Russians actively fight against any Ukrainian symbolism that reminds that they are the occupiers
The occupiers also plan to fine homeowners for having Ukrainian address signs with the correct names of the streets. Such sanctions are expected to be introduced at the beginning of 2025.
It was previously reported that the Russian occupation administration was conducting mobilization in the occupied territories of Ukraine, but this action failed due to a lack of personnel.
The enemy planned to recruit 10 thousand Ukrainians from the temporarily occupied territories by the end of 2024, but these plans could not be realized due to the unwillingness of local residents to fight against their Motherland. Even increasing the one-time payment from 200 to 400 thousand rubles from the Kremlin could not help.
