Welsh railway over the beach: a day trip costs less than £20.
According to The Sun: The "Cambrian Coast Railway" was once recognized as one of the most beautiful train journeys in the world.
One of the most scenic railway routes in the UK can be traversed for less than £20 for a whole day. The route runs from Aberystwyth to Pwllheli with a transfer at Machynlleth and often follows the coastline. One of the most beautiful stretches of the route goes through Barmouth, where the train crosses a bridge that rises right above the beach or ocean depending on the tide height. This bridge, also known as the Mawddach Viaduct, is the largest wooden viaduct in Wales and one of the oldest still in operation.
A journey along this picturesque route promises to be an unforgettable adventure for those who love the beauty of nature and architectural masterpieces.
