SBU hits the largest gas chemical complex in the world in Orenburg.
According to ТСН: Ukrainian special services continue to systematically destroy the energy resources of the aggressor country. This time, strategic facilities in the Krasnodar Krai and Orenburg region of Russia came under fire.
Destruction of the seaport
Fighters of the Center for Special Operations 'A' of the Security Service of Ukraine successfully struck the seaport of Temryuk, located in the Krasnodar Krai of Russia. As a result of the attack, a large fire broke out, engulfing at least two fuel storage tanks. The occupying authorities, along with emergency services, tried to extinguish the fire.
Attack on the gas processing plant
Another serious blow to the Russian economy occurred at the Orenburg gas processing plant, the largest gas chemical complex in the world. The plant has the capacity to process about 37.5 billion cubic meters of gas annually. SBU drones struck a vulnerable part of the plant, causing a gas fire in the pipeline of the 3U-70 installation, which is responsible for purifying raw gas from impurities.
As a result of the damage to equipment and the outbreak of fire, the operation of the strategic enterprise had to be halted.
Explosions in Budyonnovsk
It was also reported that in the evening, about ten explosions were heard in the city of Budyonnovsk in the Stavropol Krai of the Russian Federation, lasting at least 20 minutes. Residents of the city reported seeing a fire in the northern part, and one of the drones fell between residential buildings.
Preliminary reports indicate that the strikes hit the 'Stavrolen' chemical plant, while Russian air defense forces attempted to repel the attack. There is currently no official data on casualties or the extent of the destruction.
Thus, these events confirm the continuation of the conflict and the activity of Ukrainian forces in combating Russian resources. Strikes on strategic facilities can significantly impact the economic situation in Russia, which in turn emphasizes the importance of these operations under current conditions.
