Prior to his military service, Yelizarov worked in media, serving as a producer and media manager, including a role as the General Director of the 3S.TV channel in 2010.

Following Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022, Pavlo Yelizarov volunteered for military service. He served in the 126th Battalion of the 112th Territorial Defense Brigade. Demonstrating significant initiative, he founded the Lasar's Group unit, which became one of the most effective drone warfare units in the Ukrainian forces.
