The size of a disability pension will be determined by the assigned group. Individuals with Group I disabilities will receive 100% of the old-age pension, those with Group II will get 90%, and Group III recipients will receive 50%. In 2026, the minimum pension for Group I will be 3,725 hryvnias. During this period, the subsistence minimum for non-working individuals will be set at 2,595 hryvnias.
Guarantees for Military Personnel and Chernobyl Victims
What guarantees will apply to military personnel with disabilities in July? Starting March 1, 2026, minimum payments for conscripts will be:
- Group I — 8,116.59 hryvnias
- Group II — 7,446.26 hryvnias
- Group III — 7,100.60 hryvnias
For other military retirees, minimum payments will be:
- Group I — 7,438.19 hryvnias
- Group II — 7,100.60 hryvnias
- Group III — 6,761.40 hryvnias
Pensions for those affected by the Chernobyl disaster will also have specific rates in July. Minimum payments in this category will be:
- Group I — 11,048.25 hryvnias
- Group II — 8,838.60 hryvnias
- Group III — 6,813.09 hryvnias
This reflects the government's ongoing commitment to supporting individuals impacted by the catastrophe.
As for veterans whose disabilities result from combat, their minimum pensions in July will be:
- Group I — 18,885 hryvnias
- Group II — 15,494 hryvnias
- Group III — 10,625 hryvnias
Additionally, the guaranteed monthly allowance for combatants will be 6,197 hryvnias. These measures are designed to improve veterans' living conditions and ensure they receive adequate social protection.
